Simple as it may seem, the gastric bypass surgery comes with side effects and it may not be worth the effort if you don' have a lot of weight to lose. It is an invasive procedure and lasts up to half an hour depending on the surgeon. The most common of the gastric bypass surgery side effects is excessive vomiting after the surgery and this can be followed by diarrhea and general body tiredness after the surgery. It may not be inevitable but the severity of the fever can be reduced by operation on an empty stomach. The severity may also be reduced by reduction of some weight before the surgery for those patients whose BMI is less than 40.
